After rolling to a 1:53 score in Windsor’s Preferred Pace last Sunday, Enough Hanover wasn’t about to rest on his laurels for owner/trainer Staci Malady
of Rives Junction, Michigan.
The six-year-old son of Dragon Again returned to the border oval on Sunday night and proved to be just as dominant in this week’s $10,000 tilt.
Brad Kramer hustled Enough Hanover right to the motor and the gelding didn’t look back en route to posting the 1:52.2 decision. After laying down fractions of :27, :56.1 and 1:23.4 for driver Brad Kramer the gelding scooted home in :28.3 to post the win by three-quarters of a length over Reminic. Prince Val rounded out the top three.
It was the 11th win of the season for the 24-time winner, who has stashed away more than $74,000 this year and just over $156,000 to date.
Brad Forward enjoyed a big night at the office, as well, after making five trips to the winner’s circle. The Woodstock, ON horseman clicked with Red Neck Style (1:56.1), Blissfull Breeze (1:55.2), Will B (1:54.1), Fit Happens (1:54.2) and Milwaukee Ray (1:54.1).
