Hahn Scores First Driving Win

Driver Jonathan Hahn and three-year-old trotting filly Riversaway teamed up to earn their first career wins together in Flamboro Downs' second race on Saturday night.

Riversaway got around an early breaker in the backfield and rallied wide from third over for her maiden-breaking win in the $6,000 trot. She defeated longshot Warrawee Quince and the pacesetting favourite, Delcrest Holly, by one and a quarter lengths in 2:04.3. Michel Lariviere's homebred Keystone Nordic filly was making just her third career start and paid $23.90 to win.

The victory was also the first in Hahn's career. The 33-year-old resident of St. Marys, Ont. began driving in pari-mutuel races in 2014.
