Driver Trevor Henry attempted to narrow the lead of Western Fair Raceway’s top reinsman, Doug McNair, as much as he could in the wake of his absence during the Saturday night program in London, Ont.

Henry, who currently sits in second place in the track’s drivers standings, was able to add five wins to his totals while McNair was racing in the Ontario Sires Stakes Super Finals at Woodbine Racetrack.
Henry reined home five winners including Veronicavermillion ($5.40) in the first race for trainer Scott Barr, Landfair Jazzie ($4.50) in the fourth race for Marysa Snide, Northern Zephyr ($6.50) in the sixth race for Ray Bunn, Rebel Rapids ($4.70) in the eighth race for Wayne Henry, and Cammisrazmataz ($3.40) in the finale for Paul Taylor.
The resident of Arthur, Ont. currently ranks sixth in the Canadian drivers standings with 398 wins recorded this year. With 157 of those victories recorded at Western Fair, he sits second trailing McNair by 33 wins. Lifetime, Henry has won 3,737 races and has banked over $24 million in purses.
