Allbeef N Nobull Prevails By A Nose

Allbeef N Nobull waited patiently for the Lightning Lane, then poured through for Dave Palone to capture Friday’s $18,000 Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Pace at The Meadows.

While Sam Hill and the first-over Southern Allie battled for the lead from the three-quarters on, Allbeef N Nobull saved ground and energy in the pocket. The son of McArdle-She Likes It All, the lone three-year-old in the field of accomplished veterans, found the Lightning Lane in time to nip Sam Hill by a nose in 1:52.3, with Southern Allie third.

Ron Burke trains Allbeef N Nobull, who extended his career bankroll to $198,767, for Burke Racing Stable, Donald Emond, Howard Taylor and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.

Mike Wilder collected four victories on the 15-race card while Tony Hall and trainers Randy Bendis and Norm Parker each fashioned a triple.
