With seven drives in Saturday night's Ontario Sires Stakes Super Finals, driver Jody Jamieson continues his assault on the Canadian wins record
.
"I’m going to enough cards of racing each week to maintain the pace I’m on to maintain the record pace, and maintain the dash title pace,” Jamieson noted to Western Fair a couple of weeks ago. "At this point, I’m just thankful for the support people have shown me. People have been just so gracious and just so supportive, it really makes it worthwhile.”
With 665 wins on Canadian soil as of Friday, Jamieson talks to Trot Radio's Norm Borg about his quest for the North American dash title, the Canadian record and his thoughts about his drives on Saturday night at Woodbine Racetrack.
The record of 739 wins was set by Mark MacDonald back in 2005.
