Only one horse in the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown top 10 was in action last week, but there will be more action from that group in the next two days.
Shartin N, the No. 1-ranked horse in the poll for each of its 25 weeks this year, is set to race Wednesday in the $40,000 fillies and mares invitational at Dover Downs. The race will also include Caviart Ally, who currently sits just outside the top 10.

In addition, No. 3 Bettors Wish, No. 4 Warrawee Ubeaut, and No. 6 Gimpanzee will be competing in Matron Stakes events on Thursday at Dover.
Manchego, ranked No. 5, was the lone horse from the top 10 in action last week. She won the preferred handicap trot at the Meadowlands Racetrack.
The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, which runs weekly through November, does not determine Horse of the Year. The members of the U.S. Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.
