On a day full of longshot winners at Red Shores at the Charlottetown Driving Park, Corey MacPherson managed to steal the show driving five winners on the 13-dash card.

MacPherson was rocking early in the card, striking with the early Daily Double. He converted with J J Tanner ($16.70) to score the first half and then managed to end the 0-for-19 streak of Diamond Mine ($6.20) in the second.

The man they call ‘Tiger’ then struck with a pair of heavily bet trotters. Holy Molie Maggie ($2.40) pocket popped at the five-eighths mark to crush her rival by five lengths for MacPherson, who came back in the Open Trot with front-end tactics to score a two-length victory with all-aged trotting track record holder Osprey Impact ($2.90). The 1:59.4 win was the fourth in a row for the daughter of Federal Flex, who is owned and trained by Paul Larrabee.

MacPherson's winning ways continued in the next race as the Atlantic rep at this year's National Driving Championship rocked Western Sexy ($6.30), a first-time starter for trainer Phil Sizer, to point before giving way to Onehotvett. MacPherson once again popped pocket past the five eighths mare and blew them away by nine.

Driven by ‘The Blue Knight’ Jason Hughes, Best Risque strutted her stuff in the afternoon feature to defeat the boys and return $22.40 on the nose.

The Brain Ladner trainee set up an Old Home Week-like opening quarter, hanging Forever Paradise and Mike McGuigan out for most of the opening panel in :26.2. After clearing, McGuigan had no choice but to continue to roll as post time favourite Clic K pressured the fraction-setter to a half in :55.2. Hughes made the winning move with Best Risque up the backside, moving out from the two-hole on the way to three-quarters in 1:25.4 and taking command of the field. The nine-year-old daughter of Cammibest stopped the clock in 1:56.3 for Ladner and family, Lillian and Kevin Ladner.

The win gave Hughes a driving double on the card, which handled $37,326
