Leaving for the front, Lets Leavem left his competition behind to win the $8,500 Preferred 3 Trot at Flamboro Downs on Saturday, November 11 at odds of 5-2.

From post four, Lets Leavem took control and led unchallenged through fractions of :28, :58.1, and 1:27.2, kicking to a two-and-a-quarter length lead over pocket-rider Azucar circling the final turn. Regardless of broken equipment, Lets Leavem strolled to victory in 1:56.4, with Azucar finishing second and Winkys Pride, riding the rail behind the pocket sitter, taking third.

A seven-year-old gelding by Angus Hall out of the Inquirer mare Who Tookem, Lets Leavem, owned by Sarah Town, won his ninth race in 30 starts this season and his 20th in 151 starts ovearll, earning $182,920 in his career. Trained by Shane Arsenault and driven by J. Bradley Harris, he paid $7.70 to win.
