For the second time this weekend, Stephane Gendron scored a five-bagger at Rideau Carleton Raceway.

Gendron, who won five races on Friday night including three with Jamie Copley trainees, repeated the feat on Sunday's 15-race card.

His first win came in the second race with the Copley-trained P H Thunder($3.80) prevailing by a nose. Gendron returned to the winner's circle after guiding Delightfull Grin ($8.40) to another narrow victory in the following dash for trainer Brenda Spence. The reinsman later won the ninth race with Time To Rocknroll ($10.30) for Pierre Marc Longpre and swept the late Daily Double with Copley trainees Zorgwijk Hollander ($5.50) and Dash Board Lights ($5.70).

Gendron, who is among Rideau's top five drivers, has won 189 races this year and 3,707 lifetime.
