Fresh off a win in the Sarah Myers Stakes last Wednesday Desyllas Racing LLC and William Beck’s Fox Valley Helena made it two-in-a-row as she cruised to a 3-3/4 length victory in an $18,380 ISOBA Super Sale Stakes

for two-year-old trotting fillies on Wednesday night at Balmoral Park.

Using the inside starting spot to his full advantage driver Marcus Miller eased the daughter of Vaporize-Hallie Rose away in third as Search For Reality (Todd Warren) led the field through an opening quarter :29.3. Quickly moving to the outside as the field headed towards the half-mile mark, Fox Valley Helena grabbed control of the race and proceeded to lead the field through middle splits of :59.4 and 1:29.2.

Drawing away from her seven rivals as she trotted through the lane, the Robert Taylor-trained miss was never seriously threatened as she stopped the clock in a career best of 1:59.2. Fox Valley Ruffian (Mike Oosting) finished as the bridesmaid, while Search For Reality was third.

The victory was the third in 14 starts this season for Fox Valley Helena, who was sent off as the even-money favourite. She now sports earnings of $58,385.
