Century Mach made every call a winning one en route to a 1-1/4-length score in the $10,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred Pace at Fraser Downs on the Thursday (Nov. 9) evening card.
Scott Knight sent the Kelly Hoerdt student to the top and never looked back as they maintained a 1-1/2-length advantage through panels in :27.4, :57.4 and 1:26.4. The mare kept on going down the lane to win in 1:55.1. Pirate Booty (Terry Kaufman) pocketed second and Grey Sea (John Abbott) rounded out the top three.
Century Mach is a five-year-old JK Royal Flush mare owned by Hoerdt. She earned her seventh victory of the season from 25 starts and her 26th career triumph. Century Mach now boasts $181,648 in career earnings. She paid $3.20 to win.
