The Meadowlands’ Andrew “Shades” Demsky is working with 2021 Meadowlands Pace-winning driver Mark MacDonald on a new web series titled “Mark On Mic.”
Each week MacDonald will be mic’d up for a race and fans will get to dive inside Mark’s mind and hear his thoughts in real time.
Episode one is from the Meadowlands eighth race on Friday, Nov. 5. Fans get to listen to MacDonald detail how he expects the race to unfold while lining up to the gate. In-race commentary is also provided by not only MacDonald, but race-winning driver Dexter Dunn.
“The Meadowlands thanks those involved for their participation,” said video producer and assistant race secretary Andrew Demsky. “Mark is not only a top driver in the game, but one of the funniest guys in the room. Wearing a mic every week, I'm expecting we'll eventually see a full range of emotion from Mark, all while providing a pretty unique perspective.”
The videos will be posted on the track’s social media platforms including the Meadowlands YouTube channel. The first episode can be viewed below.
