Driver Scott Coulter ground first over with 1-9 favourite Susies Lady to win the second of two divisions for the opening round of the Autumn Series at Flamboro Downs on Saturday, Nov. 9.

Away fourth to a :29.4 first quarter, Coulter tipped Susies Lady first over and ranged towards tempo-setter Umpteen Hanover moving past a 1:01.4 half. The daughter of Muscle Mass edged ahead of Umpteen Hanover approaching three-quarters in 1:32 and extended to a three-and-a-half length victory in progress to a 2:02.4 victory. Umpteen Hanover held second from Eternal Jewel in third.

Owned by M And L Of Delaware LLC and trainer Susie Kerwood, Susies Lady won her second race from eight starts, earning $26,560. She paid $2.30 to win.

Royal Peach strolled in the other Autumn Series split to a 2:04 victory. The Royalty For Life filly inherited the lead past a :30 first quarter after Dancing Queen went off stride. She faced no challenge through a 1:01.4 half and past three-quarters in 1:33.3 while chased by pocket-sitter Miss Justine through the stretch, who finished one-and-three-quarter lengths behind the winner. Gard Louiggi took third.

Owned by trainer David Byron, Craig Wallwin and David Cantelon, Royal Peach won her second race from 10 starts, earning $12,190. Aaron Byron drove the $3.10 winner.
