Overcoming the eight-hole, TSM Photo Bugger captured his third straight in Friday’s $22,500 Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows, giving Aaron Merriman one of his six wins on the 15-race card.
Away sixth, TSM Photo Bugger followed the live cover of Rembrandt Spur and brushed through the stretch to down that rival by three and a half lengths in 1:54.1. Victory Is Coming, the only mare in the field, shot the Lightning Lane for third.
Jan Fread trains the five-year-old SJs Photo-Rewarding Wink gelding, who soared over $200,000 in career earnings, for owner/breeder Ted Tomson.
