Driver Doug McNair was the star of the Sunday night card at Woodbine Mohawk Park, kicking off the month of November with a five-win performance.

Back at his home track after a stakes-winning Saturday in Alberta, McNair's successful Sunday was highlighted by a pair of 1:51.4 winning trotters from his father Gregg's stable as stakes-placed sophomore colt Yankee Boost ($6.30) took a new lifetime mark in Mohawk's $26,000 opener and Osceola ($2.80), a career winner of nearly $900,000, headlined the $33,000 feature in the ninth race.

McNair also picked up victories during the 11-race card with the Dave Menary-trained claiming trotter Stable Genius ($2.50) in 1:53.1 as well as claiming pacers Wicked Express ($8.90) in 1:51.3 for the Kyle Fellows stable and Cant Stop Lou ($7.90) on 1:52.1 for conditioner Gerard Demers.

With the addition of his five winning drives on Sunday night, McNair matched his 2025 win total of 258 with two months still left in the 2026 season. He's driven horses to $7.2 million in purse earnings this year in Canadian races to rank second-best in the nation among all drivers and his overall season's total of $7.5 million in earnings is a career-high for the 36-year-old Puslinch, Ont. reinsman.
