Victory Is Coming extended her winning streak to seven with a hard-earned, front-end victory in Tuesday’s $20,000 Filly & Mare Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.

Victory Is Coming raced outside for most of the opening quarter and was under siege by a handful of challengers late. But the nine-year-old daughter of Victory Sam-Norse Comer dug in for Aaron Merriman and held off Princess Pablano by a head in 1:55. The pocket-sitting She Wore Red finished third.

Ammon Hershberger trains Victory Is Coming, who triumphed for the 68th time in her career and vaulted over $700,000 in lifetime earnings, for Betty Shaw and John Red Shaw.

Jim Pantaleano and Merriman each collected three wins on the 13-race card.
