Driver James MacDonald guided Novadane Pepercorn to his second straight victory in the Barrie Ford Summit Series, which continued on Sunday night at Georgian Downs with five $5,000 second leg divisions
for $6,000 claiming pacers.
Novadane Pepercorn went from last to first in his division, stopping the clock in 1:54.2. MacDonald drove the seven-year-old Intrepid Seelster gelding for trainer Peter Marostega and owner Tony Miceli of Mississauga, Ont.
MacDonald also guided six-year-old Yankee Cruiser gelding Future Cruiser to a 12 length victory in 1:55.4 in an earlier division for trainer Robert Morrison and owner Mark Gingrich of Milton, Ont.
The other divisions were won by: Laurel Canyon and Stephen Byron in 1:55; Indiana Lucky and Anthony MacDonald in 1:55; and Josedale Biscotti and Dan Clements in 1:54.2.
