Shake N Blake rides a four-race win streak into the top event on a special Tuesday evening (Oct. 8) program at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The capital oval will host a 12-dash program at 6 p.m., on Tuesday evening as the usual Thursday slot is occupied by the Yearling Preview for the Atlantic Classic Yearling Sale in Crapaud, P.E.I., from 3-7 p.m. The Atlantic Classic Sale will be held at the Crapaud Agriplex on Friday, Oct. 11, starting at 11:30 a.m., with 151 yearling catalogued for sale. The Atlantic Classic Sale will kick off the Atlantic Breeders Crown Weekend Of Champions, presented by MacRae’s Backhoe and Trucking, with programs Saturday and Sunday, both at 12:30 p.m. The Saturday card will feature the Atlantic Sires Stakes pacing consolations with the Sunday Championship card featuring the Atlantic Sires Stakes final for trotters and pacers as well as the $15,500 MacRace Memorial Open Mares Series final, the $50,000 Premier’s Cup Invitational final and the $12,600 Island Oceans Trot Challenge final.

The Tuesday program of overnight action has Shake N Blake the top selection in the $3,300 top class in race six with Jason Hughes above the wheels for trainer Jennifer Doyle and owner Danny Birt. The four-year-old daughter of Hes Watching has won her last four outings.

Ms Moyse is a top entry with post three for trainer/driver Adam Merner fresh off a 1:57.4 victory last time out. Also in the Tuesday evening featured field are Rock N Roll Cays (David Dowling), Maggiesdelight (Corey MacPherson) and Outrageous Style (Gilles Barrieau).

The Post Time Picks likes Shake N Blake to win: “Shake N Blake may be the sharpest horse on the Island right now and if you need more proof take a look at the lines. Slides out to post five and Hughes won’t wait long so we’re calling for a Red Shores high five."

Phil Dorleans (Hughes) is favoured in the $2,400 Tuesday evening finale from post five for trainer Ashley Gamester and owners Lyndon Hardy, Andrew Williams and Kent Williams. Other top entries include Brookdale Jim (Paul Langille) and Howmac Agustus (Corey MacPherson).

Fans can book seats in the new O’Brien’s Social Bar & Kitchen on Tuesday. The Top of the Park is closed for this event.
