The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board handed out a $45,000 fine to Harrah's Chester Casino and
Racetrack today for failing to handle an incident properly in August 2008 concerning a disruptive patron.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the board determined that Harrah's security staff exercised poor decision-making in an incident on August 24, 2008 and as a result, the patron was susceptible to physical injury and personal embarrassment.
The casino fired the security personnel directly involved in the case and agreed to update its surveillance system.
