Nobody could even make a move on Elm Grove Kaboom as he led at every call in the Thursday evening feature event at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Marc Campbell added to his season-leading win total in the $2,100 Thursday top class as he sent the heavily-favoured Elm Grove Kaboom to the lead and commanded every fraction through splits of :28.2, :57.1 and 1:26.1 before unleashing a :28.2 closer to win in 1:54.3. Oh To Be Me (Driven by Gary Chappell) was second with third going to Simon Said (Gilles Barrieau).

Tyne Valley captured the $1,550 Tom and Margaret Claybourne Memorial trot in 2:02.1 for driver Walter Cheverie and co-owner and trainer William Roloson along with co-owner Scott Roloson, both of Belfast.

Barrieau had a driving triple on the program winning with HP Rubis Joyce in 1:59.1 for Blaine Baglole of Cornwall and scored a pair of wins for trainer Jackie Matheson of Charlottetown as Four Corners was a 1:58.1 winner and Perfect Escape won his second-in-a-row, this time in 1:56.2.

Jason Hughes of Stratford also scored three wins in the race bike opening the card up with his own Dusty Lane Min in 2:02.3. That win was followed by Yankee No More in a race 6 victory of 2:00.3 for trainer Darren Smith of Rocky Point then another win from Hughes' own stable closed the card out as Jeb was a 1:56.1 winner.

Adam Merner of Charlottetown scored a driving double on the program. Go to www.Redshores.ca for race replays and more information.
