Silver Dragon pulled off the upset victory, defeating recent winners La Fugeuer and Junebugs Baby, in the top pacing class at Northside Downs on Saturday.
Silver Dragon rallied wide off the cover of Inverness invader Schooner at the third quarter mark in Saturday's featured $1,250 Winners Over Pace and then tracked down the front-stepping La Fugeuer for the 1:58.4 victory. Junebugs Baby came on for third-place.
Carey Romeo Jr. drove the 10-year-old Dragon Again gelding to his seventh win of the year (out of 21 starts) for trainer and owner David Ratchford of North Sydney, N.S.
