Falcon Seelster's world record at Ohio definitely stands out as most memorable and is comparable to the thoroughbred all time great performance from Secretariat.
He shattered the world record similar to Niatross on the mile track, but his was in a race, and his record lasted 17 years!

Most exciting, most memorable, many other adjectives and still seems impossible but it really happened. Life Sign, John Campbell, 1993 Jug

To me the greatest moment with no close 2nd was when the great niatross broke the 1:50 barrier in a time trial at the red mile. Not only was it the fastest mile in history but he shattered the old mark by almost 3 seconds. That is something we will never see again.

WOW. I would LOVE to get a copy of this issue. In regards to Top moment, Fan Hanover winning the Little Brown Jug
