Alberta's leading horseman Travis Cullen continued to rack up the wins on Friday at Century Downs as he scored a training triple during the nine-race card.
Cullen's Friday victors were Phoenician Girl ($2.20), Cheat To Win ($6.30) and Bounty Boy ($2.80), who won by a combined 11-1/4 lengths.
Phoenician Girl scored her third straight victory at Century Downs while Bounty Boy made it two in a row -- both were apart of a previous training triple for Cullen last Friday. Cheat To Win's career-best 1:57.4 mile was his first victory outside of Manitoba.
Prior to his stable's hat trick, Cullen also drove Meadowlark Mr Bert to victory lane for trainer Carl Archibald.
Cullen has now earned 163 training wins in 2015 to rank second on the Canadian leaderboard behind two-time defending Trainer of the Year Richard Moreau while his 0.535 URS is the best in nation. His stable has earned in excess of $800,000 in purses throughout the season.
