Ontario Sired two-year-old fillies headlined Monday evening’s action at Woodbine Mohawk Park in a pair of Harvest Series finals.

Trizzle Trazzle drew in off the also eligible list to score a 56-1 shocker in the $49,600 pacing final, while Trina scored at 6-1 in the $47,500 trotting final.

A daughter of Mach Three, Trizzle Trazzle broke her maiden in style by rallying from eighth at three-quarters to pass tiring rivals and score a half length victory in 1:54.2. Jonathan Drury guided the Kevin St. Charles trainee to victory.

The early-action saw Kit shoot from the centre to post a :27.2 opener before Wiggle Delight circled from second to first and led by more than two lengths through solid fractions of :55.4 and 1:23.4.

Race-favourite Beach Sports was second-over turning for home and pushed towards the front, but was overtaken in deep stretch by the longshot Trizzle Trazzle, who came from eight-lengths off to win. Ms Brampton Beast was third, while Wiggle Delight finished fourth.

Trizzle Trazzle’s maiden breaking score boost her earnings up to $44,926 for owners E C S Racing LLC. She paid $114.80 to win.

Per Henriksen guided his student Trina to a convincing 1:55.4 victory in the trotting fillies final. The daughter of Muscle Mass angled out from fourth at the half, powered first-up to within a neck of the lead at three-quarters and trotted away in the lane to win by 3 ½ lengths.

Goddess De Vie followed the winner’s path from the half on to finish second. Susies Lady rallied from eighth for third, while Bra In The Wind was fourth.

Trina knocked two-seconds off her previous best and improves to two for eight with $43,875 earned. She is owned by Harbor Racing Stable LLC and Asa Farm.

A $2 win ticket on Trina returned $14.80.

The Harvest Series was open to Ontario Sired two-year-old fillies, who were non-winners of $30,000 as of September 30, 2019.

Monday’s program also saw three-year-old pacing fillies kick off their Harvest Series. Three divisions – each worth $17,000 – went postward.

Esprit Dequipe went to the front and didn’t look back in her assignment en route to posting a 1:53.2 triumph for driver Jody Jamieson.

The daughter of Big Jim-Intense carved out fractions of :27.2, :55.4 and 1:24 before using a :29.2 closing quarter to seal the deal by three-quarters of a length over Kickin Cowgirl. Taking home third prize was Betsea.

Owned and trained by Cassandra Lecourt of Ste-victoire De Sorel, QC, Esprit Dequipe improved her 2019 record to 8-1-2 from 15 starts while pushing her lifetime earnings over $36,000.

Lady Driver also used front-stepping tactics to win her division in 1:52.4 for the tandem of driver Jonathan Drury and trainer Carmen Auciello.

Drury had her on the lead through fractions of :27.1, :56 and 1:24.2, and they finished off the competition with a :28.2 closing quarter. She drew clear to win by 3-1/2 lengths over Acefortyfour Pat, with Salutation another length back in third.

Sent off at odds of 2-1, the daughter of Sportswriter-Lake Shore Drive won for the fifth time this season for owners Michael Hall, CTC Stable and Our Three Sons Stable LLC. The lion’s share of the loot pushed her lifetime earnings to $81,010.

Free Exchange was a popular winner in the final division for the duo of driver Bob McClure and trainer Jack Darling.

The daughter of Betterthancheddar-Free Admission left out from Post 8 and dropped into an early four-hole while Dress To The Nines marched to the front and sliced out splits of :27 and :55.1. She was still the leader at the three-quarter pole in 1:23.4, but Free Exchange was steadily making gains from first-over. Free Exchange then used a :29-second closing quarter to win by 1-1/4 lengths over Gentle Warrior in 1:53.1. Casimir Swamp Girl was third.

Jack Darling Stables Ltd of Cambridge, Ont. owns the filly who now boasts a 2-4-0 record from 12 trips to the track this season. The $8,500 payday bumped her overall cash stash to $74,944.
