Chasin Racin Romps At Rideau

After coming up just a bit short and settling for back-to-back runner-up performance in Rideau Carleton Raceway’s $13,000 Preferred Pace. Chasin Racin sped to an impressive score in Thursday’s main event

for driver Gord Brown.

Chasin Racin rushed to immediate command from Post 5 and threw down fractions of :26.3, :56 and 1:25 before using a :28.3 closing panel to win by 3-1/4 lengths over Montreal Phil in 1:53.3. One False Move tagged along to grab the show dough in the six-horse tilt.

Andrew Moore trains the 16-time winner for partners Jamie MacKinley of Clyde River, PEI and Jody and Larissa Sanderson of Doha, QT. The five-year-old son of The Panderosa-Contrapan, who was sent off as the 7-5 favourite, has banked $686,316 to date.
