With a victory in his 11th race assignment for $20,000 claimers on Wednesday night at Harrah’s Chester, Ontario Sires Stakes graduate Armbro Acquire became harness racing’s newest millionaire.

Driver Yannick Gingras and the nine-year-old son of Rustler Hanover-Fiddletoons got away sixth while Cullens Blue Jean (Jonathan Roberts) edged out a parked Keepthepeace N (David Miller) on the front end at the opening quarter in :26.4. From there, Keepthepace N dropped back into fourth and Johnny Charisma (George Napolitano, Jr.) brushed to command from third. Favourite On Your Mark (Eric Goodell) then provided Armbro Acquire with cover through middle splits of :55 and 1:23.3 and in the stretch the 3-1 second choice kicked home in :28-seconds to prevail by over a length in 1:52.1.

Johnny Charisma finished second with Keepthepeace N coming back on for third.

The lion’s share of the $14,000 purse lifted Armbro Acquire's bankroll to $1,003,578. The winner of the Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final at three has won four of his 27 starts this year earning $71,060. Lester Walls currently trains and owns the gritty pacer with Jennifer Paniere of Marydel, Maryland.
