In the $10,700 Maritime Breeders three-year-old trot final, driver Brian MacPhee hustled Thelastonestanding to the lead off the gate and released challenger Little Miss Winnie (Clare MacDonald) to the front in the :29.2 first quarter. Thelastonestanding then moved out to reacquire the front before the three-eighths pole and continued to cruise through splits of :59 and 1:29 while widening his advantage before stopping the clock in 2:00.2 with a four-and-a-half length margin in the final Atlantic Stakes engagement of his career. Second went to Richsnortherndream (Kenny Arsenault) with Dusty Lane Titan (Marc Campbell) third.
