The winning streak is now three-in-a-row and counting for G Ts Jamie, who rolled to a 1:55 score in Thursday’s $12,000 Fillies & Mares Open Pace at Fraser Downs.
G Ts Jamie shot to the top from Post 3 and successfully sliced out splits of :28, :58.1 and 1:26.4 for driver Jim Burke, who then used a :28.1 closing frame with the Jim Marino pupil en route to the half-length triumph over Phone Terror. Sheezgotdawoogies was third.
Sent off as the 1-2 favourite, the six-year-old daughter of Brandons Cowboy-G Ts Sheer Delight posted the 14th win of her career for Marino and the J J J Stables of Prince George, BC. She’s banked over $45,000 this year and more than $94,000 to date.
