Reaching up in the final strides, Dancers Pass devoured her competition in the featured pace during the final Thursday evening program of the season at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
David Dowling delivered the stick handling performance in the $2,200 featured pace to score in 1:58.1 over heavily-favoured pacesetter Collective Wisdom (Driven by Gilles Barrieau) while third went to Drivingthedragon N (Jason Hughes).
Philip Kelly of Emyvale co-owns and trains Dancers Pass for co-owners John MacKenzie of Springvale and Allan McGuigan of Charlottetown.
Star Photo delivered a front end performance to win the $2,250 Open Trot in 1:59 with Hughes in the bike for trainer Kevin Gillis and owners Robi Hughes, Eric MacLauchlan and James Perrot of Stratford and Blair MacLauchlan of Charlottetown.
Race favourite Freddie (Marc Campbell) had to settle for second while Hop Up (Corey MacPherson) completed the $236.95 Trifecta ticket.
