Three-year-old trotting colt Parlay fetched the highest price at today's Fall Extravaganza Mixed Sale
at Flamboro Downs.
Parlay, who has already banked $119,740 on the season and has a good chance of qualifying for the $300,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Super Finals in November, was purchased by Jim McPhail of Calgary for $122,000.
Frigid temperatures could not dissuade buyers, who packed the SC Sales Pavilion at Flamboro and paid over $1.78 million for 234 horses, resulting in an average of $7,612.
