Driver Vinny Ginsburg won the 1,000th race of his career this past Friday (October 20) when he guided Shuttletruth to a 1:57.3 victory in a $2,800 conditioned pace at Freehold Raceway in New Jersey.
Ginsburg has spent nearly a decade in the sport as a driver. A regular on the New Jersey/Pennsylvania circuit, the 28-year-old Ginsburg has won more than 100 races in four consecutive years, with a career best of 183 in 2015.
He has won 121 races this year and his mounts have earned a career-best $1,171,216 in purses. He is currently fifth among all drivers in wins and earnings at Freehold Raceway.
