More Honours For ‘The Beach’

The great Somebeachsomewhere is just a few weeks away from receiving some more accolades.

The Truro Daily News has reported that Somebeachsomewhere, the standout son of Mach Three, will be inducted into the Colchester County Sport Hall of Fame in Nova Scotia on Friday, November 8.

The ceremony will be held at The Marigold Cultural Centre in Truro and will get underway at 6:30 p.m.

Trained by Brent MacGrath and driven by Paul MacDonell, Somebeachsomewhere, a winner of 20 of his 21 starts, banked in excess of $3.3-million during his sparkling career. He has since been enshrined in the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame.

Somebeachsomewhere was campaigned by the Schooner Stable of Bible Hill, Nova Scotia, which consisted of McGrath, Garry Pye, Stu Rath, Reg Pettipas, Jamie Bagnell and Pamela Dean.
