Multiple Grand Circuit stakes-winning trotter Kilmister will stand stud in 2026.
Kilmister 2, 1:52.3, 3, 1:50.3 ($855,039) will join the Ontario stallion ranks at Tara Hills Stud.
Kilmister is sired by 2025 North American leading money-winning trotting sire Chapter Seven and is a half brother to multiple Grand Circuit stakes-winning two-year-old filly Denarius 2, 1:53.1 ($131,961). His dam is 100 per cent producer Treviso 2, 1:53.1 ($330,515), by Muscle Massive.
On the racetrack, Kilmister was a multiple stakes winner at ages two and three, with an overall career summary reading 8-4-6 in 25 starts. At age two in 2022, he won an elimination and the $337,000 final of the Peter Haughton Memorial at The Meadowlands and won a division of the Kentucky Championship Series in a seasonal-best time of 1:52.3 at The Red Mile, along with two New York Sire Stakes. At age three, he was victorious in a division of the Bluegrass Stakes in a career-best 1:50.3 at The Red Mile. He also won a division of the Empire Breeders Classic and the Muscle Hill, and finished second in the Kentucky Sires Stakes final, Earl Beal Memorial and Stanley Dancer Memorial, and was a finalist in the Breeders Crown.
Kilmister sold at the 2021 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale for $170,000 and was trained by Marcus Melander for owner Courant Inc. of Delray Beach, Florida.
Kilmister will stand for $5,000 and is the richest son of Chapter Seven to stand in Ontario.
