Noble Wins Seven At Dayton

Despite Ohio’s chilly 45-degree weather, driver Dan Noble has been blazing the competition this week at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway. Just yesterday he surpassed $50 million in career earnings, and on Thursday (Oct. 20) he won half of the 14-race card.

The 39-year-old took advantage of the fast track conditions and kicked off the night with a bang. His most impressive win came aboard Going The Distance in Race 2. The gelded son by World Of Rocknroll left conservatively off the gate, but followed cover on the backside. Sitting fifth at the three-quarter pole, Noble pulled and stopped the clock in 1:55. Trained by Bob Conrad, Going The Distance paid a whopping $45.80 to win.

After winning Race 2 and 3, Noble later scored in Race 9,10,11,12, and 14.

Noble’s six other wins were:

  • Big Booty Rudy, six-year-old gelding by Big Bad John, trained by Randy Smith, won in 1:51.4 and returned $8.80.
  • Jennas Tonic, four-year-old mare by Well Said, Ron Potter trains, 1:54.3, $4.80.
  • Jamaican A Bundle, seven-year-old gelding by Feelin Friskie, Jacob Zink, 1:54.1, $5.80.
  • Rocket Russell, three-year-old Downbytheseaside gelding, Dean Glispie, 1:54, $4.20.
  • Dontforgetmaster, seven-year-old son by Dontyouforgetit, Deborah Swartz, 1:55.4, $4.00.
  • Fan Of Terror, 10-year-old Western Terror gelding, Peter Redder, 1:52.2, $11.80.

Noble is the leading dash winningest driver at Dayton Raceway with 41 victories in the meet’s opening month. Boasting a .271 Universal Driver Rating (UDRS), Noble is listed among the top drivers in North America by both wins and earnings.

Live racing will resume Friday (Oct. 21) at Dayton Raceway with first post at 4:00 p.m. (EDT).
