Wind Of The North turned back the determined uncovered bid of Call For Justice and collected his third straight victory in Tuesday’s $20,000 Preferred Handicap Trot at the Meadows.
Wind Of The North had to step lively to reach the lead from Post 7 in :27.3, but when Aaron Merriman gave the eight-year-old Cantab Hall gelding a :30.2 second-quarter breather, he was refreshed and ready for Call For Justice’s challenge. Wind Of The North would go on to down him by a length in 1:54.3. The pocket-sitting Classicality finished third.
