There has officially been a new entry to the ‘you have to see it to believe it’ file, and it sure is a doozy.
On September 24 in an off-track wagering establishment north of Paris, France, patrons were jolted to their feet when a racehorse – a filly – came charging through the premises at roughly 10 a.m., according to an item by Mashable.
Irony of this level is truly hard to believe without – wait for it – video, which appears below.
The article states that the filly, who is apparently known for being a bit of a Houdini, had dumped her rider at the training centre she resides at, which is close to a racecourse in Chantilly.
The filly was on the loose for roughly one kilometre when she spotted the door to the OTB, which was open just slightly. Customers apparently saw the filly coming, but really didn’t think that she would head their way. The video proves that they were clearly wrong.
The article goes on to explain that the filly was eventually captured in a nearby parking lot and returned to her stable.
