Breaker Blue Star Outlaw (Jason Hughes) trailed the field, which was reduced to four after two scratches.

The win was the six-year-old son of Real Desire's seventh of the season in 12 starts.

Driver Brodie MacPhee posted four victories on the card. MacPhee scored with Pownal Bay Lassie and MG Hurricane before the half-way point of the program then drove Roscoes Child to the fastest mile of the night in an impressive 1:58.3 before closing with Travolta in the next race.
