Veteran driver Yves Filion had the hot hands on Sunday night at Rideau Carleton Raceway, as he guided home five winners during the 15-race card.

The 64-year-old reinsman earned his first win of the card in Race 5 with Xcell Irish Spirit ($9.10) for trainer Justin Filion before reeling off four in a row during the final races on the program. Filion's streak ran from Races 10 through 13 as he picked up wins aboard another Justin Filion trainee Tomorrows Treasure ($5.40), Highland Hellion ($7.90) for Luc Blais, High Profile ($7.60) for Pierre Leclerc, and Emerson Seelster ($23.50), also for Blais.

Filion pushed his win totals to 30 for the year and 4,275 lifetime with his five-win night.

Driver Guy Gagon wasn't far behind Filion as he recorded four wins on the card.
