Trainer-driver Kelly Hoerdt captured both divisions of the Prairie Lily Pace for aged mares, sponsored by Standardbred Canada and the SSBOA, with new track record holder Multiflora Hanover and Stabilo on Saturday night at Marquis Downs

Multiflora Hanover sat third for most of the mile before sprinting home to set a new 1:57.1 track record for aged pacing mares. Pocket-sitter Power Maid (Garry Schedlosky) finished one length behind in second while favourite Rossridge Divine (Jamie Gray) finished third after carving out fractions of :27.4, :57 and 1:25.3. The former 1:58.3 record was held by Admired Promise.
Multiflora Hanover paid $11.70 to win as the 9-2 second choice. The daughter of Western Hanover-Mixing Melodies is owned by Hoerdt and Blair Corbeil of Beaumont, Alta. Multiflora Hanover has won five of 20 starts and earned $10,634 during her four-year-old campaign. Lifetime, she has banked $38,690.
In the second split, Stabilo showed the way through fractions of :28.1, :59.2 and 1:29.2 en route to a 1:58.4 victory. Cuzzin Mimi (Jamie Gray) finished three and a quarter lengths behind in second with first over challenger Barossa (Dallas McGee) third.
Stabilo paid $4.40 to win as the bettor’s choice. The six-year-old daughter of Mach Three-Shes So Misty has won four times in 12 starts this year and earned $16,512 for Hoerdt and co-owner Erna Corbeil of Beaumont, Alta. The lion's share of the purse pushed her total bankroll to $252,034.
