Eight-year-old pacing mare Tajmeallover made her 50th career win her fastest yet as she opened Friday's racing program at Century Mile in fine form.

Tajmeallover established a new lifetime mark of 1:53 flat winning the featured $6,800 Fillies & Mares Preferred 2 Pace.

You Talk Too Much led the field, which was scratched down to six starters, through fractions of :27.3, :56 and 1:25. Approaching the three-quarters mark, Tajmeallover, who was second-to-last, picked up cover from No Mo Fo Joe and then rallied by down the stretch. Ladies From Hell finished second while You Talk Too Much settled for third.

Tajmeallover, who has two triumphs to go along with six runner-up finishes from 20 starts this year, returned $6.30 to win as the 2-1 favourite.

Lifetime, the former Alberta Horse of the Year sports a record reading 50-26-10 from 109 starts with earnings totalling $419,053.

The eight-year-old Tajma Hall-Watch Over Me mare is campaigned by trainer/driver J.F. Gagne and partners Peter Van Seggelen, Carl Warnaar and Tapron Holdings Ltd.
