Arnies Angel (Ridge Warren) attacked the leader first over down the backside and even stuck her nose in front. However, when Slick Artist A clicked off that swift panel for Dave Palone, the challenger had to retreat. Slick Artist A prevailed in 1:54.2, two lengths better than the rallying Irish Daydream (Jeremy Indof), while Arnies Angel saved show.
Gerald Lee Jr. owns and trains the winner, an eight-year-old daughter of Art Major-Slick Bird who now boasts a lifetime bankroll of $311,990.
