Oney Hall went to the front and didn’t look back en route to a 1:52.4 triumph in Monday’s $34,000 Preferred Trot at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

With Trevor Henry at the lines, Oney Hall shot to the top from Post 6 and together they carved out fractions of :27, :56.1 and 1:25 before kicking home in :27.4 to win by a nose over the pocket-sitting Perfetto. Third prize went to Only For Justice.

Bob McIntosh trains the five-year-old son of Deweycheatumnhowe-On With The Show for Alan Leavitt of Lexington, KY. The victory was his sixth of the season and the 19th of his career. The $17,000 payday bumped his lifetime bankroll to $279,189.
