Walnut Hall Downsizing At Blooded Sale

Walnut Hall Ltd. will be downsizing at the Blooded Horse Sale in Delaware, Ohio on November 18 and 20.

The announcement was made by Alan J. Leavitt, president of Walnut Hall Ltd. The consignment will consist of 11 yearlings, 26 in-foal broodmares, and 25 weanlings.

The yearlings are by Cantab Hall, Conway Hall, Deweycheatumnhowe, and Groton Hall, and they represent the last opportunity to buy quality yearlings this year.

The broodmares include nine in foal to Deweycheatumnhowe, and those foals will be ‘Dewey’s first that are eligible to the New York Sire Stakes. There are also 11 in foal to Cambest, Groton Hall, and Third Straight, and their foals will be among the very few eligible to the rich Kentucky Sire Stakes program under the old format.

The 25 weanlings are by Conway Hall, Deweycheatumnhowe, Groton Hall, and Third Straight. Every one of them is select-sale quality, and they will be a veritable gold mine for pinhookers.

All the Walnut Hall Ltd. horses will be available for inspection here at the farm until Friday, November 15, and yearling videos are now up on walnuthall.com.
