Roscoes Child, with Brodie MacPhee driving for the Selkirk Stable of Belfast, PE, won the Thursday night feature at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino.
Roscoes Child toured the CDP oval in 1:57.2, with Doll R General finishing second and Pinner completing the triactor.
Tempo Seelster, in rein to owner Vince Poulton of Charlottetown, PE, continued his hot streak winning his fourth-in-a-row. The three-year-old son of Santanna Blue Chip stopped the timer in 1:57.3.
Scarlet Patti (Marc Campbell) and BJ High Meadow (Walter Cheverie) landed on the finish line together in a rare dead-heat for win in the evening’s trot class. The time of the mile was 2:02.3. Tymal Tyme was third.
Racing returns Saturday at 6 p.m. featuring the David Rose Memorial and the Maritime Breeders Eliminations. Red Shores Summerside will feature the Louis McIsaac Memorial and the MBA Eliminations Sunday at 1 p.m.
