Driver Todd Trites fired the four-year-old son of Jennas Beach Boy-Jaydexter to command from the outside Post 6 in the $1,700 Winners Over Handicap Pace and dominated his foes through fractions of :29.2, 1:00.2 and 1:29.4 en route to victory in 1:59.2. Favourite Dance Hanover (Stephen Trites) and Md Hardlys Success (Sam Hodgin) finished second and third respectively.
Joseph Michael paid $4.40 to win as the second choice in the field. The win was his eighth in 25 seasonal starts and lifted his 2011 bankroll to $57,869 for owners Capital A Investments Ltd. of Lower Cambridge, N.B. and Valerie Phelan of Geary, N.B.
