Woodmere Granslam topped the 2010 Atlantic Classic Yearling Sale held on Friday afternoon at Crapaud Exhibition Grounds in Prince Edward Island
.
Selling early on as Hip 3, the brown son of Articulator out of the Presidential Ball mare Costly Ball was purchased for $18,000 by Margo Fisher from consignor Wally Wood of Charlottetown, P.E.I. Woodmere Granslam is a half-brother to Woodmere Gorgeous ($22,083), Woodmere Jethro ($19,622) and Woodmere Fastball ($68,216).
A total of 98 yearlings were sold for $388,900 producing an average price of $3,968.
