After a rare break in the $20,000 MacRae Memorial, the iron sided Acefortyfour Dome will look to bounce back in Thursday evening’s featured conditioned pace for fillies and mares at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The 11-dash Thursday program kicks off at 6 p.m. (ADT), with race 10 serving as the marquee event for distaff pacers carrying a purse of $4,150.

Leaving from post two, Acefortyfour Dome is rated as the 5-2 morning line favourite for driver Jason Hughes and trainer Ashley Gamester. The eight-year-old daughter of Up The Credit was seventh with broken equipment in last week’s MacRae Memorial after making a costly miscue at the start but will be on the hunt for victory on Thursday as she tries to add to her 40 lifetime wins for owner Donald MacRae of Vernon Bridge, P.E.I.

Galway Girl (3-1) will have rail control with Marc Campbell in the bike for conditioner Landon Campbell. The Shanghai Phil mare was an open-length winner two starts back in 1:55.4 then followed it up with another win last week in 1:57.1.

Fresh off a string of sharp performances, Rosetown Mary (7-2) looms as a top threat from post three for trainer/driver Corey MacPherson. The Pang Shui mare has hit the board consistently her entire career and has 13 top-three finishes from 16 starts this season.

Also in the field are the Jennifer Doyle-trained duo of Elm Grove Mistress (4-1) with David Dowling driving and Shake N Blake (6-1) in line to Ken Murphy.

The "Post Time Picks" give the nod to Acefortyfour Dome to notch another in the win column: “Acefortyfour Dome raced big from post six two starts back in Summerside and made an unfortunate break in that lucrative final last week, but she’s a fierce competitor. Expect her to bounce back with a big effort from this inside post.”

Earlier on the program, trotters will square off in race three for a $3,850 purse. Rocket Blast (MacPherson) gets post five for owner Carl Bagnall as the favourite and will have to fend off Glider Man (Dowling), Majian Salsa (Jim Ripley), Labero (Marc Campbell) and Hallofaride (Ken Murphy).
