After a solid runner-up score in the 2022 Mohawk Million, Silly Me Hanover appears ready for more Grand Circuit competition with a victorious Breeders Crown tune-up during the Friday (Oct. 14) qualifying session at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

Silly Me Hanover was on top for every call during her Friday morning test. Driver Bob McClure pointed the rookie trotter to the top from her post six starting spot and she managed fractions of :29.4, 1:00.3 and 1:30 before kicking home in :28 through a stiff headwind to trip the timer in 1:58 some 10 lengths better than her rivals.

A $250,000 yearling sale purchase of Determination from out of the 2021 Harrisburg sale, Silly Me Hanover (Walner - Shared Past) is trained by Luc Blais. In six starts thus far, the trotter totes a 2-1-2 record with $264,631 in earnings.

Eliminations for the 2022 Breeders Crown will be contested over two cards next weekend at Woodbine Mohawk Park, with the two-year-olds in action (if eliminations are required) on Friday, Oct. 21.
