Driver Jason Lynch won the co-features Monday (Oct. 11) at Harrington Raceway with Slick Tony ($13.60) and Mcboogity ($8).
George Leager's Slick Tony notched his 52nd win with a powerful late-stretch kick to edge Somebaddude and Carlisimo, who were noses apart at the wire in a $17,000 conditioned pace in 1:53.1. The six-year-old No Spin Zone stallion recorded his 11th win of the season and surpassed $857,000 in career earnings. Slick Tony was the 2019 Horse of the Meet at Harrington.
One race earlier, Lynch owned, trained and drove winner Mcboogity to his seventh win of the year in a $13,200 Claiming Handicap in 1:53.2. The win pushed Mcboogity's seasonal earnings over $85,000. He was claimed for the fifth time in the last two months, this time for owner-trainer William Andrews.
Allan Davis, Montrell Teague and Victor Kirby joined Lynch with driving doubles on the card.
