On top every call, there was no stopping Live And Let Di Saturday afternoon in Atlantic Breeders Crown consolation action at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Kenny Arsenault hustled Live And Let Di off the gate in the $5,500 Atlantic Breeders Crown three-year-old filly consolation and controlled the front at every call before drawing clear by seven-lengths in 1:56.4. Second went to Ms Moyse (Driven by Adam Merner), while race favourite Gotta Love Cabot (Clare MacDonald) was third. Tom Weatherbie trains Live And Let Di for owners Blair Hansen of Charlottetown, Wade Peconi of Stanchel and Isaac Schurman of Kensington.

Mr Kelly delivered as the heavy favourite in the $5,500 three-year-old pacing colt consolation in 1:56.1 over Here Comes Red (Gilles Barrieau) and Theycallmedude (Ken Murphy). Marsha Knox co-owns the Rollwithitharry colt with Wade and Kyla MacDonald of Stanhope while Ron Gass handles the training duties.

Bettim Again saw no challenges en route to a 1:56.1 victory in the two-year-old pacing colt consolation with Barrieau in tow for trainer George Rennison and owners Jeff Lilley of Miltonvale Park, Christina Lecky of Summerside, Blair MacLauchlan of Charlottetown and Nova Scotia resident Ian MacDonald. Justcallmedoc (Brodie MacPhee) sat second the entire mile while Elliot Moose (Jason Hughes) rallied for third.

Maggiesdelight got up in the final strides to win by a nose in 1:58.3 in the $5,500 two-year-old pacing filly consolation over Woodmere Vanish (Paul Langille) and favoured Southfield Skye (Marc Campbell). Corey MacPherson was in the bike of the winning daughter of Steelhead Hanover for co-owner and trainer Michelle Myers and co-owner Roger MacDonald of Cardigan.

Gass had a training double as Diamond Call (Merner) won in 1:55.3 in Race 7. Barrieau made three trips to the winner’s circle with The Rev (1:55.1) from his own barn and with Woodmere Soul (1:59.3) from the Ron Matheson stable.
